Finding Fionna Part 2

        "What????? You mean all that junk is real??" My mouth just hangs open. She can't mean it.  PB solemnly nods at us.

    "Yes, I'm telling the truth guys." PB walks over to me and squats so she's as tall as me. "This could be very dangerous. I need you guys and Jake to come with me. I can't do something this history-making alone."

    "But how do we even get there?" Flame Princess frowns at Peebs. "Do you have some...portal...thing... to molecularly transport us? And why do you need me? If this trip is dangerous, why should you bring me?? I'M dangerous. I'm not a hero like Finn. All you ever wanted from me is for me to be shut up where I couldn't cause trouble!" FP's amber irises crackle and flare up.

        "WHY should I risk anything to do this for you?!"

 "Hold on Flame Princess!" I plead, before she can melt the room. With a soft woosh her eyes diminish back to their human shape. "This could be really cool. And think how much good stuff you'd be doing by helping PB. I know you're not evil. Here's your chance to show everyone!" 

            She frowns. Her cheeks burn red when she's thinking hard. It's so...wow. "Well...okay..." she says grudgingly.

    Bubblegum sighs. "Well, in answer to your question, I've found a vortex in the basement of the Candy Castle."

                    We stare at her skeptically.

            "What?? There's tons of magical biz in this place. Really, it was only a matter of time before we found a vortex nearby..."

    ......................Oookayy. Bubblegum's palace is a freaky place. 

    "Ugghh, anyway, we'll simply step into the portal with these---" she grabs a space-suit looking thing and chucks them at us. Mine smacks me in the cheek meat. "--to protect us from all the space ooze and bacteria with which our immune system is unfamiliar."

        "Do we have to keep them on in the Land of...Aaa?" I ask. The suits look kind of uncomfortable. I need comfort if I wanna kick butt with ACCURACY!! 

    "Well, considering that the Land of Aaa has the same oxygen level and basic life forms as we do, I don't think we'll be harmed by the suit's removal once we arrive."

 Oh my Glob--Jake!! "Wait!! Peebles, we need Jake too right?"

    "Uh, yeah. Like we'd leave Jake! I love Jake! He's already here."

    "Hey bro," says a teeny Jake, peeking out from behind the aquamarine gem on PB's crown.

    "What the stuff! Why didn't you say you were here!?"

    He shrugs. "I dunno. I don't really have a reason for doing anything."

    "Hi Jake!"

    "Hey Flame Princess!" Jake enlarges and stretches of Princess Bubblegum's pink head.

"And as you can see, Jake's suit stretches with him! In fact, each of your suits were made for your specific needs. Flame Princess, yours is-"

"Fire-proof, I get it."

"And not only that: it actually is fire. Whenever you faze into your flamish form, it reads your body's change in temperature and shape to combust in time with your body. In essence,  it becomes a part of you whenever you need it to! And whenever you're in a humanoid form, it keeps you from burning stuff to a crisp." She grins. I'd be proud too; that's some mad smart skills! FP smiles. 

 "And Finn, your is very durable; you can fight in it and it wont tear a bit. Plus it fits over your hat" 

"ALL RIGHT!!" Cool man!!

                We suited up. Flame Princess had to take her dress off, 'cause the suit has legs. My face buurrnned....but I didn't look. 

    PB guides us over to the basement stairs and we step down into the darkness. I hear Jake smash into something! "Oooowww!!"

    "Oooh yay, Jake has already located the portal for us!"

PB flicks on a light bulb hanging over us. There's a shower in front of us. What..? She yanks away the shower curtain reveal this huge , revolving, circular abyss. The center shifts from green to blue to purple.........

    "This is it guys,"says Peebubs. "We're all going in together, for safety reasons. Everyone, hold hands!" Flame Princess and I lock palms right away as we all climb into the bath tub, and this time it doesn't burn. She stares into my eyes, and I see her fear. I smile at her in what I hope is a way that tells her that I would never let anything hurt her. Not again. Jake grabs my empty hand, and PB holds his

 "On the count of three!! One.." I squeeze FP's hand. "...Two..." She squeezes me back. "...three!!" 

                        We step forward.
